In this assignment, you will work on a real-world problem where technology, operations and user experience come together.
You will develop a smart system that helps employees request and manage workspaces while automatically optimizing seating arrangements with;
- A technical degree
- Interest in AI, algorithms, and optimization
- Programming experience (e.g., Python)
- Analytical and independent
The following research questions are intended to guide the development of a solution that will directly impact how teams collaborate within Sioux;
- How can workplace allocation be optimized in a dynamic project-based organization?
- Which data sources can be used to maintain an accurate overview of workplace occupancy?
- How can AI and optimization algorithms support workplace planning decisions?
- How can seating plans be generated automatically while minimizing employee relocations?
- What is the optimal balance between workspace utilization, team collaboration, and employee preferences?
- How can the effectiveness of the proposed solution be measured and continuously improved?
