As a Senior Electrical Designer, you design advanced electrical solutions for high-tech systems and products.
In this role, you support our customers in developing electrical concepts and designs for mechatronic systems. You will work for leading clients in the analytical instrumentation, semiconductor, and medical industries, both within the Brainport region and beyond. Your electrical engineering expertise plays a key role in realizing innovative high-tech solutions.

As a Senior Electrical Designer, you are responsible for the electrical design of control systems for mechatronic systems and products.
Your Responsibilities
- You are involved from the specification phase, based on customer requirements, through to validation of the final product.
- You work in multidisciplinary teams to specify, design, and guide the implementation of the electrical infrastructure of mechatronic systems.
- You enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a multidisciplinary environment.
- You are able to apply relevant standards and regulations effectively and incorporate them into your designs.
- You provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
You will work on a variety of high-tech projects with an average duration of one year. In these projects, you develop products from initial concept through to a fully operational product, for both one-off systems and series production.

This is what you bring to the table
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience specifying and designing the electrical infrastructure of complex systems.
- Affinity with related disciplines such as mechanical engineering, software engineering, mathematical modeling (mathware), control engineering, and dynamics.
- Solid knowledge of electrical components, cabling, and control cabinets in low-volume production environments.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Experience with ECAD tools such as EPLAN or Siemens Capital.
- A driven personality, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
