As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you maintain and extend our automated test frameworks, develop new automated tests, and help improve overall product quality.
In this role, your focus is on user-friendliness, quality, innovation speed, and cost efficiency. This way, Sioux's application software team supports clients in the semiconductor, medical, and analytical industries in developing and bringing to market distinctive and competitive products.
You will collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure our testing processes are efficient, reliable, and aligned with project goals.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test suites in C# and Python, including the automation of existing manual test cases and creation of new ones based on product requirements, using tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Axini (MBT, BDD/Gherkin).Collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Execute and analyze test runs in remote environments, perform regression testing, and ensure comprehensive test coverage through collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
- Identify, log, and track software defects using Jira and other bug tracking tools, while actively supporting developers in issue resolution and quality assurance throughout the SDLC.
- Prepare clear test documentation and reports, ensure software meets quality standards and delivery timelines, and provide testing support and insights to internal stakeholders as needed.

This is what you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
- Solid programming skills in C# and/or Python.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab).
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Good understanding of software testing principles and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
