Our position
As a Software Designer at Sioux, you are involved in preparing the requirements and you are responsible for creating and sharing software design, the implementation, integration, and quality of the software. You want to advance towards a role in which you provide technical control to the software development team, also making your own contributions to design, realization and integration.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate creative skills during the conceptual phase of projects, translating requirements into innovative and clear concepts.
- Act as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
- Assume responsibility for a module/sub-system throughout the whole software cycle.
- Possess strong communication skills to effectively guide and mentor a team of senior engineers.

You love your job, and you are passionate about developing software for advanced systems. You also enjoy working in a team and getting the maximum out of it together.
- You have a background in system control software development on a higher professional or university education level and at least five years of work experience in the semiconductor or medical domain.
- You have experience in building software that includes data-driven and/or system dynamics and control solutions.
- You can take the technical lead in a team of three to seven persons.
- You have extensive experience with software development in C++ and C# for different operating systems, including state machine and real-time aspects.
- You have extensive experience with various development methods and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.)
- You have a strong affinity with electronic, mathematical, and mechatronic challenges, and can interact well with engineers from these disciplines.
