As a senior algorithmic engineer, you develop, engineer, test state-of the art application software for challenging high-tech projects.
In this role, you support our European customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-efficient application software for the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry. - Develop, analyse, and qualify algorithms.
- Simulate and validate machine behaviour following algorithmic changes.
- Analyse focus impact and overall machine performance resulting from software and algorithm modifications.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues related to focus performance.
- Develop and maintain diagnostic tools with MATLAB and Python backends.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional solutions.
This is what you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, data science, physics or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in the areas where applied mathematics and analytical skills where highly appreciated.
- Strong MATLAB and Python programming skills.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices and tooling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with complex technical systems and large datasets.
