As an Integral Project Manager, you are responsible end-to-end - from project initiation to industrialization - for the development of complex mechatronic systems and modules.

You will work for customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your expertise plays a guiding role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like wafer steppers and electron microscopes.

Your ambition is to manage multidisciplinary project team of development engineers and take responsibility of successful project completion. Communication between customer and the team is a central part of your role, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You understand the business case your project is working on, look ahead and timely anticipate changes in organization, technology and project. You can allude to these changes and prepare decisions in a clear way.

From our office in Eindhoven and sometimes at our clients' premises you like to keep yourself busy with:

  • Preparing quotations together with the account manager
  • Preparing project plans and subsequently following up and monitoring the time schedule and associated budget
  • Preparing progress reports, both internally as well as for the customer
  • Riskmanagement and scope management
  • Daily management of the project team
  • Efficient and effective communication with all stakeholders at all levels; team, colleagues and customers, ranging from engineers to senior management: prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings, prepare decisions to be made, etc.

Your future workplace

This is what you bring to the table

  • Technical degree at higher professional or university level.
  • 12+ years of experience in high-tech systems development, including 8+ years in project management or team leadership roles.
  • Skilled at bridging customer needs with technical teams, with proven success in managing multi-disciplinary development projects, including (series) production and NPI.
  • Combine a strong business focus with the ability to balance customer interests and your organization’s goal.
  • You are flexible, you can deal with the customer’s ever-changing requirements and at the same time, you are able to find a balance between relenting and sticking to agreements
  • Good knowledge of methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, Prince II, IPMA, PMBOK, and CMMI.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
