Sioux Technologies is looking for an engineer experienced in maintaining and improving processes and stimulating quality thinking in a development environment.

What excites you as Junior Quality Engineer - Development Processes

You work in maintaining and monitoring the use of the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Sioux Group. You support in rolling out this system and applying it in their local development projects and in the assembly of the developed sub-systems. You feel comfortable working with the QMS of the group of companies and can relate to the needs of these companies. You know what is needed to maintain and publish a QMS. You are able to include norm requirements in the descriptions of the processes.

Your daily activities include:

  • Document Control
    • Maintain the Sioux QMS, writing and adapting procedures, templates, etc. based on change requests.
    • Publish the maintained QMS in major releases at regular intervals and in small batches of documents as needed by the business.
  • Facilitate Quality & Regulatory (Q&R) support
    • Both perform and monitor gathering of data on the use of the QMS and generate reports out of these statistics.
    • Monitor, support and participate in project process reviews.
    • Plan and track audits, both internal and external.
    • Prepare, together with Q&R colleagues, the management reviews of the quality policies and activities.

Your future workplace

This is what you bring to the table

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline e.g. software, mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles with a broad organizational scope.
  • Knowledge of development and production of complex, software intensive mechatronic systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the current ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Interest in other quality standards as they evolve and grow in importance in today’s high-tech systems world.
  • You can balance between these regulatory requirements and both the business and project needs. You speak the language of technical team members to be able to come to optimal process descriptions.
