Our position

As a Principal System Designer Mechanics / System Architect Mechanics you are responsible for the technical definition and implementation of a multidisciplinary project. In close consultation with the customer you set up a list of requirements, translate them into technical specifications and budgets.

  • You are responsible for the concept, design, realization and integration of the mechanical architecture. Technical functional demarcation and testability are important aspects to realize the project within budget and planning.
  • You investigate theoretical working principles and apply them practically in the project.
  • With your experience and knowledge, you lead the project team from a technical point of view and provide guidance to (mechanical) system designers, designers and engineers in such a way that a technical functional system is ultimately delivered to the customer.

We are looking for a Master of PhD in Mechanical Engineering:

  • You have a proven track record in the field of Mechanics within high-tech machine and equipment design
  • You have at least 10 Years of relevant experience with multidisciplinary development projects
  • You have a broad orientation and are not afraid to look over the boundaries of your mechanical expertise
  • You have excellent analytical skills and levels of abstraction
  • You are skilled in the use of various analysis methods
  • You have excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a technical leader, and inspirational coach towards team members
  • You have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of technical designs, mechanisms, precision mechanics, DFX
