Project Management Office Manager, based in China

Our Position

As a PMO Manager in Sioux China, you are one of the key team leads with direct influence on happy customers, happy employees, and a successful Sioux. You are responsible for:

• Managing a team of around 10 project managers.
• Close collaborating with Business development and R&D teams to bring in projects that fit the Sioux business roadmap.
• Creating, implementing and maintaining project management processes that work efficiently with internal and external customers.
• Producing high quality and insightful project reports that help with business decisions.
• Fostering a collaborative working environment that ensures productivity and quality.
• Hands-on project management and on-project coaching of your team.
• Grow your team members to form a professional project management team.

Your Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in machinery, electronics, mechatronics and other related engineering majors. Fluent English and Chinese speaking.
• More than five years of multi-disciplinary project management experience involving cutting-edge projects for semiconductor, medical equipment, analytical instrument industry is preferred. Familiar with a variety of project management methods such as V model, Agile, Model driven development.
• Have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the projects you will be overseeing. This includes knowledge of engineering, software development, electronics, and mechatronics.
• Responsible for leading a team of project managers and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. Strong leadership and team management skills are therefore essential.
• Effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders is critical to project success. You’re expected to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Think strategically and develop long-term plans for project execution and team development. They should also be able to anticipate potential issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Projects involving cutting-edge equipment can be complex and require meticulous attention to detail. You’re detail-oriented and able to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards.
• Ultimately, you should be results-driven and focused on delivering high-quality projects that exceed client expectations. They should have a strong track record of achieving project goals and driving continuous improvement.
