Sioux develops and produces state-of-the-art technology for the top end of the international high-tech community. Examples include a complex lithography machine, a compact electron microscope, a smart home automation system or an electric self-charging car. We raise the bar high and we often achieve the impossible!
NPI projects bridge the gap between Sioux Technologies Nederland (STN) or external customer development and Sioux Technologies Assembly (STA) series production. The resulting order realization process yields the product; Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs (QLTC) requirements as greed with the customer and the internal organization and ensures the forecasted turnover.

Our Position

As Project Manager NPI you will manage complex mechatronics NPI projects from quotation and order intake up to product delivery and service in such a manner that the project targets on timing, budget, quality, organization , risk and customer satisfaction are met.

Your daily activities include:

  • Collect customer requirements regarding customer forecast and demand, customer priorities, issues, complaints during the project.
  • Create and maintain reports for review by the Manager NPI or Sioux Technologies Assembly Management Team (project board/dashboard) and timely signal and escalate in case of disturbances and diversions.
  • Align and agree with Manager NPI on project budget and timing and requirements regarding expected product margin and turnover.
  • Execute NPI projects according to the Sioux Quality Management System (QMS) to realize a complete ORP process? to supply products to the customer with agreed QLTC specifications according to World Class Manufacturing principles.
  • Initiate/participate in creating and optimizing NPI Project Management processes to continuously improve the NPI process especially w.r.t the interface with the D&E organization and Production organization.
  • Contribute to the acquisition of NPI projects in consultation with the Sales/Account Manager.
  • Provide project effort estimates and other relevant consequences to the Account Manager needed to issue a quotation for customer Request for Quotation (RFQ’s).

Your future workplace

This is what we're looking for

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • 5 years’ relevant work experience in (NPI) project management in the high-tech industry.
  • Knowledge of and /or experience with business processes and its challenges.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and tools such as Prince2.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Navision, SAP, Microsoft D365.
  • You have excellent leadership, project management and team building skills and a can-do mentality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
