As a Senior DevOps Engineer you develop reusable DevOps solutions and integrations to support several projects
In this role, you support our customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-efficient application software. In the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management and providing insight into large data sets.

- Connecting Sioux Projects and Sioux IT by streamlining collaboration, ensuring clear communication, and proactively identifying needs and improvement opportunities
- Guiding teams in adopting and applying DevOps best practices and encourages continuous improvement
- Managing and optimizing DevOps services running in Docker containers on Fedora CoreOS, focusing on stability, security, and performance
- Developing and improving documentation and standards for usage and integration within projects
- Contributing to the Internal Developer Platform with tools such as Backstage, Crossplane, and ArgoCD
- Designing and implementing standardized workflows and self-service solutions for developers
- Coaching more junior colleagues

Your future workplace
What do you bring to the table?
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science
- You have gained 5 – 10 years of experience in DevOps
- You have strong experience with Linux-based platforms (preferably FCOS or container-optimized operating systems)
- You have experience with Docker and Shell scripting and tools such as Backstage, ArgoCD, and Crossplane
- You have experience with CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes
- You are able to translate technical concepts into understandable guidelines for the teams
- You have knowledge of or experience with various development methods and techniques such as Design Patterns, UML, Agile, and keep your professional knowledge up-to-date. You are looking for an environment where you can also apply these developments in practice
