As a Senior Software Engineer you work with C++/ C# /.NET on advanced systems for semicon, medical and industrial customers.
In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the “Medical Valley” and beyond, with smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions.

What excites you as a Senior Software Engineer | High-Tech Systems (m/w/d)?
From our office in Erlangen and occasionally at customer sites you work on challenging projects that take technology to the next level.
- Develop software using C++, C#, and .NET, supported by generative-AI tools where appropriate, and contribute across the full software-development lifecycle including unit and integration tests
- Develop high-complexity software in the medical, analytical and semiconductor domain in a very dynamic environment with challenging projects
- Operate in an agile development environment and taking a leading role in technical discussions
- Collaborate on software requirements
- Where projects require it, work close to hardware and build confidence through simulation, SIL/HIL testing, and real-system integration
- Mentor junior colleagues and enjoy sharing knowledge
- Maintain development process and code quality through reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement

This is what you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics or natural sciences.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in technical software development across different roles and (product) environments and / or projects
- Domain knowledge in the Semiconductor and/or medical domain would be a huge advantage. You are willing to learn unfamiliar products and reason from first principles.
- You have hands-on experience with C++ (required), C#, .NET framework, Python
- You have developed reliable software through structured debugging, unit and integration testing, and automated CI/CD pipelines
- You use generative-AI tools in your daily work, or you are eager to learn how to use them responsibly and effectively. Proven expertise is a plus
- You communicate confidently in English and can work effectively in a German-speaking environment. German-language proficiency is a plus.
