As a Software Engineer, you develop, engineer, test software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our clients in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries, located within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays a crucial role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

What excites you as a Software Engineer?

From our office in Apeldoorn and at our clients’ sites, you will work on challenging projects that take technology to the next level. You are the expert who designs, develops, and tests, while also enjoying contributing ideas, connecting with others, and delivering strong team results. You like to work on challenging software projects focused on developing intelligent system functionality within a multidisciplinary team. Together with this team, you create the driving force behind machines that are deployed worldwide in high-tech industries.

As a Software Engineer you like to keep yourself busy with:

  • Developing control software for complex machinery
  • Defining software requirements and creating software design based on system functionality
  • Building scalable, modular software within object-oriented architectures
  • Collaborating with disciplines such as electronics and mechanics
  • Testing and validating the software directly on the machines
  • Gathering input from stakeholders to clarify specifications and use cases
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement of the codebase and development processes

Your future workplace

This is what you bring to the table

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience developing machine control software in C++, C# and/or Java
  • At least 4 years of experience in machine control or industrial automation
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development
  • Able to properly document requirements and translate designs into functional code
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a self-starting attitude
  • Bonus: experience with Java
  • Nice-to-have: experience with the TwinCAT development environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
