Our Position

As a Software Lifecycle Engineer, you will be involved in the identification, review, assessment, and resolution of deficiencies throughout a system’s life cycle. It includes bug fixing, migrations, developing and integrating small new features in the software of the systems in a multidisciplinary context of the machine or equipment.

At Sioux you will:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new product features, enhancing overall functionality.
  • Provide expertise and support to debug processes across multiple disciplines, including electronics, mechanics, and mechatronics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and software engineering principles, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Manage the documentation process, including archiving initial development records and updating product documentation, to support effective communication and future development efforts.

Your future workplace

This is what we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with a focus on Computer Science or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering in a multi-disciplinary setting,
  • You have strong professional experience with at least one of the following C, C++, C#, Python or Matlab.
  • Experience with test & integration of embedded software in High Tech machines
  • Experience with configuration management of complex software
  • Experience in customer support
  • Good communication skills with various (internal/external) stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel
