As a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer, you link purchasing requirements to the actual quality performance of suppliers.

In this role, you are responsible for setting up, qualifying, monitoring, and improving the supplier chain from a quality perspective. You work closely with purchasing, engineering, and production to ensure that suppliers deliver consistent quality.

  • Selecting and qualifying new suppliers.
  • Monitoring the quality performance of our suppliers and carrying out assessments
  • Initiating corrective and preventive actions
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers
  • Acting as a link between NPI teams, production, and suppliers
  • Conducting supplier audits
  • Guiding problem-solving processes with suppliers.

Your future workplace

This is what you bring to the table

  • Technical education at HBO level, or equivalent level gained through experience, preferably in the field of electronics or mechatronics
  • Experience with cleanliness in a cleanroom environment is highly desired
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supplier quality assurance in the high-tech low-volume industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 standards
  • Preferably demonstrable experience with supplier audits
  • Good communication skills such as social interaction, listening, and influencing without authority
  • Team player and self-starter, able to set priorities
  • Good command of Dutch and English
