Technical Software Team Lead – C#

Full time
Bachelor, Master
Delft
Are you an experienced software engineer with a natural sense of leadership? Do you enjoy translating complex product ideas into robust, future-proof software solutions? At Sioux Technologies in Delft, we are looking for a Technical Software Team Lead (C#) who thrives in a high-tech environment and takes ownership of both software architecture and technical team direction.

At Sioux Technologies, we develop high-tech software that contributes to a smarter, safer, and more sustainable society. From our offices in Delft, Mijdrecht, and Apeldoorn, we serve as the strategic technology partner for clients looking to realize complex embedded systems and desktop applications.

Our strength lies in combining deep expertise in embedded software, C++ development, and C# desktop applications with strong domain knowledge in fields such as medical technology, semiconductors, and mechanical engineering

Our Position

In this position, you’ll contribute to the development of control software for a high-end, complex system. This software communicates with and orchestrates multiple subsystems. You are the technical go-to person for both Product Owners and developers: defining high-level designs, translating requirements, and solving deep technical issues.

As team lead, you will guide your team technically, ensuring consistency in software quality and design decisions. You’ll work closely with local and offshore teams, support release planning, and drive knowledge sharing across the board.

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate release planning in collaboration with Product Owners and release managers
  • Translate product-level requirements into clear software specifications
  • Design high-level software architecture and component/module structures
  • Troubleshoot technical issues at the system and integration level
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve technical excellence
  • Collaborate closely with on-site and offshore development teams

Your future workplace

Your Experience

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in C# software development
  • Over 5 years of experience in software system design and architecture
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, and PlantUML
  • Preferably experience with Peer Tool Orchestrator (PTO)
  • Excellent communication skills and a mentoring mindset
  • A structured approach and the ability to guide your team clearly through development phases
  • You live in the South Holland region

You are fully available to work on-site when required. While remote work is possible, this is always in consultation and never the standard. For this specific role, being present on-site at the client location at least 3 days per week is expected — especially during onboarding. Exceptions may be made for strong candidates who live nearby and can demonstrate the flexibility to work on-site full-time if needed.

Our Culture

At Sioux Delft, we combine deep technical expertise with a down-to-earth and close-knit team spirit. What truly sets us apart is the direct involvement of our engineers in the entire development process. Thanks to the short lines of communication within our team, you’ll have a strong influence on technical decisions and customer solutions.

You’ll join an experienced, open-minded team where collaboration and knowledge sharing come naturally. We have strong ties with our clients in the Randstad region, resulting in close cooperation, short feedback loops, and a tangible impact.

At Sioux Technologies, you’ll work alongside top-notch engineers who, like you, are driven by a shared passion for technology. We offer:

  • Internal training, coaching, and a generous personal development budget of €6,000 per year
  • A vitality budget to support your personal well-being
  • Varied work through diversity in technologies, markets, and projects
  • A competitive salary and attractive secondary benefits
  • Flexible working hours (32–40 hours per week), both from home and at the office
  • An open culture focused on collaboration, learning, and having fun

At Sioux, we believe in the combination of high-tech innovation, enjoyment, and value creation. We could tell you all about our unique culture and exciting high-tech projects—but we’d rather let our people speak for themselves.
