Automotive Functional Safety Expert

At Sioux Automotive, you will be responsible for supporting our customers in guiding them through the complete safety lifecycle. Starting from a safety planning and risk assessment, through the technical development to the final safety audit and assessment. Together with your team, you design, develop, test and deliver safety critical controllers until product certification.
This is what we're looking for
You have a technical background on a higher professional or university education level
You have at least 5 years of experience with safety-related automotive system development of which at least 3 years managing functional safety projects
You are an expert and authority on automotive functional safety (ISO 26262), and are knowledgeable in general functional safety (IEC 61508) and machine safety (ISO 13849 / IEC 62061)
You have experience in executing/guiding and supporting teams with HARA, defining safety goals, safety concept development, function decompositioning, managing technical and safety requirements, and verification / validation all the way to product certification
You have a natural flair for technical leadership of a team of software engineers
You have experience with UML, SysML, Enterprise Architect, AUTOSAR
You are familiar with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/Embedded Coder and programming languages such as embedded C/C++ and the MISRA programming guidelines
