As Lead Engineer PLS Support you are the vital connection between our customers, development teams, operations and suppliers.

What excites you as a Lead Engineer PLS Support

Your role is to bridge the gap: serve as the mainpoint of contact betweenSioux Technologies and our customers, proactively addressing all customer needs and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to, during the system life time until end of Lifetime.

  • Technical support: Provide phone and email support for system issues (troubleshooting), handle complex spare part issues, installation support, review technical drawings, and manage all customer inquiries in our ticket system (Jira).
  • Product development: Participate in new Product Creation Process (PCP) projects to gain system knowledge and integrate our service requirements into new products, ensuring Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for many years.
  • Change management: define and implement operational and organizational processes that enable world-class Product Lifecycle Services and drive continuous improvement programs.
  • Customer Change Requests: Lead and support redesigns needed for bug-fixing, quality, safety, reliability, cost reduction, new enhancements or features of our systems.
  • End of life service management: Design and define replacement parts with support from our development and engineering departments to address obsolescence issues.
  • Production support: Assist our factory in resolving quality and supplier obsolescence issues to ensure continuous production.
  • Sales support: Assist the sales team with selling/addressing customer-focused Service Level Agreements.

Your future workplace

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics (or equivalent).
  • Work experience in complex multidisciplinary high-tech system development and assembly environments, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Effective in stakeholder management, both within the organization and with suppliers and customers.
  • Familiarity with service requirements, service level agreements, and life cycle management.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel (10%).
