As a Production Engineer, you act as the engineering eyes and ears for the assembly engineers in our production team.

In this role you support the production team in assembling, testing and packaging mechatronic, (electro)-mechanical modules or complete machines for our customers in the semiconductor, analytical and medical industry both in the Brainport region and internationally. Your expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, so that they meet the customer agreements and requirements regarding quality, delivery times and efficiency.

  • Ensuring optimal preparation of new products and changes in the form of instructions and system configurations.
  • Troubleshooting, and being first point of contact on a technical level.
  • Taking responsibility for continuous improvement aimed at achieving efficiency and quality improvements, to this end, you work closely with other New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineers, Production, Logistics and Purchasing.
  • Being the linking pin when it comes to the technical aspects of the production processes.

Your future workplace

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have at least a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another related technical field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes and the corresponding quality assurance, including the applied production tools and control/test equipment.
  • Preferably you have working experience in a cleanroom assembly environment.
  • You are familiar with FMEA, 8D method, process capability, and statistical analysis methods such as SPC, or you have the motivation and affinity to master these methods.
  • You have knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics D365.
  • You have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English.
  • You work accurately and can easily connect to colleagues in different layers in the organization.
  • You are ambitious and eager to learn and grow personally.
