As an NPI Project Manager – Mechatronics you introduce new high-tech modules into our factory, lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, quality and budget, ensuring successful market launches.

In this role, you are responsible for introducing mechatronic, (electro)-mechanical modules or even complete machines in our assembly facility for our customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. You work closely together with the multi-disciplinary design teams and your colleagues in the factory to achieve an optimal result in terms of quality, delivery times and cost.

What excites you as a NPI Project Manager - Mechatronics?

From our assembly facility in Eindhoven you like to keep yourself busy with:

  • Collecting customer requirements regarding customer forecast and demand, customer priorities, issues, complaints during the project.
  • Creating and maintaining reports for review by the Manager NPI or the Sioux Technologies Assembly Management Team (project board/dashboard) and timely signaling and escalation in case of disturbances and diversions.
  • Aligning and agreeing with the Manager NPI on project budget and timing and requirements regarding expected product margin and turnover.
  • Executing NPI projects according to the Sioux Quality Management System (QMS) to realize a complete ERP process to supply products to the customer with agreed QLTC specifications according to World Class Manufacturing principles.
  • Initiating/participating in creating and optimizing NPI Project Management processes to continuously improve the NPI process especially with respect to the interface with the D&E organization and Production organization.
  • Contributing to the acquisition of NPI projects in consultation with the Sales/Account Manager.
  • Providing project effort estimates and other relevant consequences to the Account Manager needed to issue a quotation for customer Request for Quotation (RFQ’s).

This is what you bring to the table

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • 5 years’ relevant work experience in (NPI) project management in the high-tech industry.
  • Knowledge of and /or experience with business processes and its challenges.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and tools such as Prince2.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Navision, SAP, Microsoft D365.
  • You have excellent leadership, project management and team building skills and a can-do mentality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
