Sioux develops and produces state-of-the-art technology for the top end of the international high-tech community. Examples include a complex lithography machine, a compact electron microscope, a smart home automation system or an electric self-charging car. We raise the bar high and we often achieve the impossible. We do so together, as a team of enthusiastic electronics, software, mechanics, mechatronics and mathematics specialists.
Unsere Position
As a System Designer Mechanics, you play a vital role in supporting the System Architect in deriving system requirements from customer needs. You excel at translating these requirements into mechanical and mechatronic concepts and designs within the context of a multi-disciplinary system. Besides your design experience you are also skilled in performing calculations and analysis, such as strength and stiffness evaluations, design optimizations, and utilizing Finite Element Method (FEM) software.
You know how to draft Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that include time and complexity estimates, and you take ownership of executing technical work packages. You will lead you own team of designers and engineers (multi-disciplinary) and organize and delegate work to get the job done.
With your keen eye for detail, you identify potential technical risks and propose effective mitigations.
Additionally, you constantly seek opportunities to enhance synergy between multiple disciplines within the project and successfully implement them.
What makes you a senior System Designer Mechanics is that you take ownership of a larger scope of work and more complex challenges, including stakeholder management and project complexity. You will also take the technical lead of a larger team of engineers and designers in the field of Mechanics.
